Ok so guys. Opinions on the passing?
I think the actual campaign was great. Short and sweet. It was a combination of all that i love about the game. The idea of the storm, and it alerting the horde; Awesome. And of course Our new friend, the fallen survivor. Who actually takes quite a few shots to kill, but rewards you with Molotov's/pipebombs/adrenaline/health packs/pain pills. I also love the added touch of the witch in the wedding dress; poor girl, got stood up. No wonder she's crying. =[.
I also noticed a new bot system. I assume it was put in to stop achievement boosting in PM's. Even though it doesnt work ^^. In a way its kinda cool, you can now have some good 1v1's on the game. But at the same time the computer infected spawn like rabbits every 2 seconds. Its a constant onslaught.
And Mutation. What a fantastic idea, rather than add a new gametype just add one which changes a feature of current ones every week. (if thats hard to understand here's how it is. This week if you select mutation you'll join a versus mode in realism mode, next thursday this will change and mutation will be: Bleed out, whatever that is ^^, it doesnt sound too good :S). I just hope they do constantly update it each week, otherwise what seems like a cool idea could quickly become lame.
Then there's the ending. Which was a little disappointing for me. I mean bill dies. Yup, bill. You can see his corpse next to the generator. Sadly francis survived >.>. But zoey did too so its all good. And louis somehow got injured. This was disappointing at first for me because there was no explanation at all as to how this happened. Then when reading the left 4 dead blog i noticed it said a new l4d1 dlc will be out next month. And i assume it will take you through the events of what happened to bill, louis, francis and zoey
Either way it was a pretty thought provoking dlc for me, which usually they arent....
Ill be sad to see bill go in a childish sorta way. I was always attached to the old l4d guys, and arent very fond of the new ones. The old guys were legends, and now there's only three. Shame. =[
