u have to change the output settings ur ps3 is fine. when ur putting it bk on the old t.v when u switch it on keep ur finger on the on button and it should bleep a few times this sets the output settingd to av

as said above kep finger pressed down for 5 secs on the start button until u hear beep then hey presto away u go
