Ok when you get a new server you get a new ip address so after the guy did his thing my buddy went and got a longer ethernet cable to run to tht one room when he turned on the ps3 he cant connect to the internet he does his new ip address scan and it comes up with and i quote " temporay ip address is blah blah " all his computers will connect and we got the ip off the computer typed it in manually and it comes up with the same quote called game stop they couldnt help and he can t get through to sony wht do we do

is the ethernet stretched in anyway or broken ?
