(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); To celebrate next week's E3, and no doubt the first real showing of Gears of War 3 to the gaming press, Rod Ferguson, Executive Producer on the Gears of War franchise, just announced that Gears of War 2 will be running a 6 times XP week all next week. Yes, that's 6 times the experience that you'd usually get... which is frankly insane!

"It's official, we're going with 6x XP for the week of E3. So that's 3 times the current double XP," said Ferguson in a tweet a short while ago.

The triple-double XP week kicks off this coming Monday June 14th at 9am EDT (2pm GMT) and will run all the way through till 9am EDT (2pm GMT again) on June 21st.

So if you needed something to do outside of show hours this coming E3, then why not rack up a crap load of Gears of War 2 experience.
