Insomniac Games has joined in the festive cheer this week by offering a free batch of Resistance 2 goodies for today’s weekly PlayStation Store update.
Fans of Nathan Hale’s triumphant return can look forward to a new trailer for the shooter, XMB themes, along with a free batch of map packs for the original title, Resistance: Fall of Man.
Elsewhere, Insomniac’s Bryan Intihar revealed that more patches are on the way for Resistance 2, along with "some really cool” features for MyResistance.net. Apparently, the PlayStation Blog will have more information on both of these in the near future.
To top off all the Resistance festivities, Insomniac's Ted Price will be featured on G4’s X-Play tomorrow chatting about his favourite games, so be sure to tune in for that.
Check back later today for our weekly PlayStation Store update coverage.
