Noticed news about this game, Michael Jackson: The Experience. Found it pretty interesting:

During E3, Ubisoft officially announced the long rumored Michael Jackson game. This was a game that had gone into production before The King of Pop's passing. Personally, I was hoping for a sequel to Moonwalker, or some similar action adventure game.

Instead it looks to be a clone of Just Dance (found on the Wii). Ubisoft has released the official title today, Michael Jackson: The Experience, along with details on how each platform will handle the game.

The Xbox 360 version will use Kinect to project a 3D image of the player onto the screen with a microphone in hand. This allows anyone to moonwalk across the living room and perform other notable dance moves trademarked by the late Jackson. The Kinect will also be using its built-in microphone to allow users to also sing, keeping their hands free from a microphone and use those arms to do some freewheelin'.

The PS3 version will require a microphone to partake in the any of the singing bits. The Move will also be required for any dance acts as well. I am curious what remains of the game if you purchased the software and did not own the appropriate hardware.

The Wii version will use Wii Motion Plus and operate in the same manner as Just Dance.

Some screenshots were released as well:

It was probably made just for the $$$ (like "This Is It" since they lost money because his last tour never started but already had alot of $$$ go into it). But it isn't Activision who produced it so...possibly not, lol.

Ubisoft isn't really known for being extremely greedy, interesting to see them pick this project up though.

Also, I found it interesting they put this in production for all next gen systems. Like stated above:

The 360 will use the Kinect with no need for a microphone since the Kinect has a built in one.

The PS3 will use the Move, but will also require a microphone which will be interesting since the Move doesn't have a microphone, maybe a plug in head set or something?

And the Wii will use its regular controllers and be like Just Dance, so no microphone needed, although if it is just like Just Dance the lyrics will probably appear on the screen and be optional to sing.

Most of the games are different then people have seen, but don't seem like they would last with entertainment for repeated play. I'm not sure how much most of these games will cost. but if it is alot some of these games are just not worth it, maybe 20-30 dollars depending on the game.

I mean who really wants to hit a ball with your body against bricks every day, just seems like a good concept but many games may get old...fast. If they are easy on the wallet, then they will probably be more popular. Smile
