But the old ps3 had a few cool sick thingz u could do with it .

For instance had more usb ports nd u could use software that you can t on the slim.

But the old ps3 tended 2 break more aswell

Which 1 would you pick if the choice was yours ? .

We I have both the original 80gb fat and a slim. I bought the slim while my Fat was being fixed. The reason I ended up keeping the Fat version was because the guy at Sony told me I was crazy not to. It is the only one that is backwards compatible(never tested it) and he said the originals should be more valuable than a new one. Not sure, they both play games just fine, which why I purchased them.

I have the fat one for over 3 years and hell its still in really good condition xD

They both do the same job and if you don't try and hack into your ps3 a lot for instance like me you will be fine. I have had my fat for 4 years now and its started to be a little loud due to the fan maybe broke but it still works fine. Which ever will be more acceptable in the space you are going to place it.

I have a release date FAT BEAST! and I wouldn't trade it for all the Slims in Jenny Craig!...LOL

I have a slim. i find it reliable but i want the fat because i have some ps2 games i still wanna beat..Why did they make it like that does anyone know?

I have a Fat and I like it better then my cousins slim, Ive had mine since they came out and I upgraded my Hard drive and I love the fact I can still play my PSone games. Plus you don't see them a lot as since I've had it since the first year it shows I was loyal even when they cost wayyy to much lol.

I like them both. They're both Playstations.
