If you dropped it in distilled water or pure water it shouldnt really affect the electronics, IF YOU DID DONT TRY TURN IT ON. leave it a week and see what happens.

dont turn it on...un screw it open it carefully and let it drain if any water got in. just let it dry for bout 3 days and you should be good.

A while ago I dropped my old Cell Phone in the toilet...DON'T ASK! LOL the guy at Tmobile told me if you put the phone in a bowl of UN-COOKED RICE the rice soaks up all the water. Try that with your controller leave it in there a day or so it's worth a shot if not offff to best buy to get a new one..LOL

Well unfortunately he has tried to turn it on or else he wouldnt know it doesnt work. I have heard the bowl of dry rice thing works for cell phones and ipods. Could hurt to try. Maybe a hairdryer on a low setting?

hey i fixed mine with a hair dryer take the case of dry the case and the electrics and put it back to geter should work

i drop my blackberry on water to and left it for a week to dry and it work fine after that.

Don't open up no matter what you do. Few of the people i know who opened up the ps3 controller ****ed up the trigger which is pretty useful not to break =]
