Post: Headset Broken in a matter of minutes

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Yeah about a week ago I was on Home. I had my headset on and it worked perfectly. I went to that "phone" or whatever that menu thing is to fix my communication settings. I didn't really change much I just scrolled through the options.

5 minutes later I went to play COD W@W, in the lobby it showed that I had a headset plugged in. I could hear the other players however I couldn't use the mic. I went to the accessory settings and everything was just fine but I couldn't speak into the mic.

Now could this have possibly be caused by what I did in Home or the my headset just break in 5 minutes?

Well I have the opposite, my headset is a cheap one and I had to put the output through the TV because I couldn't hear anything. I could for like one game in WaW but I restarted my PS3 after it froze and the earpiece part is just broken. Mine isn't a big deal but I had really good luck the time before with my $10 mic that I used. If you go to a computer store just get one normally used for a computer. You can find high quality ones for really low prices because no one uses them.

If your internet is wireless it does that , if it goes out of range it does that . Ye you basically have to keep it next to your ps3
