Curve Studios has announced the Q4 2010 release of Explodemon!, an all-new 2.5D action platformer coming to PSN.

not really sure how there making it 2.5D but hey sounds cool.

heres the what they say its about: "When the peaceful planet of Nibia is attacked by the malicious Vortex forces, the fate of the star system is thrust into the hands of malfunctioning Guardian robot Explodemon. His quest to repel the onslaught and restore peace will take him across three distinct planets over twelve levels, with new abilities and gameplay mechanics introduced throughout."

so far Explodemon kinda reminds me of clank from ratchet and clank

the game is said to be influenced by the classic games from the golden era of the awesome SNES.
