Post: PS3 60GB Demo???

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Looking to buy a PS3 60gb because of its backward compatibility with PS2 games. Looking at a "demo" unit with firmware 2.51. What does that mean? I see stuff about entering a code every time you use it. ARe there updates available now to avoid that? Are there performance differences between a demo and retail unit? I just want PS2 compatibility and the blu-ray. Any info would be great. Thanks guys.
