also if it needs repair i can send in into sony but i would like to keep my login since ive made countless purchases on my account, however i dont remember my login information and i cant look it up on a tv to see anything so once again. any suggestions or am i just screwed..

try this
1. turn it off, so the red light it on
2. plug in the RED WHITE and YELLOW wires
3. press and hold the power button on the front until you hear a beep to turn the ps3 on and another beep a few seconds after that
4. give it a few seconds, could you hear anything?
