Ive created this thread to try and spark some opinions about Fallout new Vegas. I own the game and have down the main quests and thought it was fantastic. I was hoping to get some replies and any small hints about weapons, Armour etc.

I have been having trouble getting accepted by the NCR...I have Boone with me and he seems to attack NCR troopers at random. He is dressed in NCR armor and I have reinforced leather on so wearing another factions clothes is not an option.

Anyone have a problem like this....? I guess i am going to try and reload a previous save and make sure not to piss off the NCR, but I am still unsure what caused this.

Im level 30 Mellee/explosive expert... both 100 also unarmed 100(Regret that because its shit) with 100 picklock..

I highly recommend getting 100 melee and 100 explosive cos theyre both fun... also 100 barter-speech as ive learnt you can get out of alot of situations with these skills.

Best ARMOUR ingame - Enclave Remnant Power Armour, extremely hard to obtain as you have to kill maybe 25 Death claws with 2 alpha males and 2 mothers which rape..

Best Mellee Weapon ingame - 'OH Baby' basically a supersledge on steroids... not hard to obtain just gotta kill a few monster things.

Best Missle launcher ingame- Not 100% on the name but i think its annabell or somthing beginning with A. again.. fairly easy to get aslong as you can kill around 10 Nightkin and 20 Super mutants.

Best mini nuke launcher, Fat man.. you can buy from a shop or obtain by getting to a crater of some random volcano.. must have... basically wipes out anyone in its path..

Also if you do the Hellios One quest.. DO NOT i MEAN DO NOTT!!! activate Achemedies 2... worst option.. only thing you gain from it is a BAD NCR Reputation.. + a Shitty Pistol.

Best and by far the most usefull companion is Veronica.. she can get you into the Brotherhoods base easy. + she can 1hit most enemies.
Also i suggest getting Rex the kings dog as a companion as he has 440 Hp after he gets upgraded... therefore is a great decoy if your reloading/running away.

Best money maker is collecting Snow globes.. theres 7 i think.. each worth 2000caps if u give them to Mr.House.. there a few guides on the locations of them.

Also never go with Caeser's Legion.. as its a very boring campaign and you earn jackshit.


I HAVENT completed the game yet as ive been told after u finish the last battle you cant freeroam.. so im going to finish all sidequests first.
