(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My problem: Every time I try to play Call of Duty World At War, the screen just goes black and my ps3 freezes. (Pressing the PS button doesn't bring up the menu). My other games still work so I"m guessing this is a problem with the actual CD. From what I can tell though, there aren't any major scratches anywhere.

What happens: I put in the CD. The little "Call of Duty World At War Loading" screen pops up. Then it just goes black. Not sure if this is important but I figured I'd say it just in case.

Other Info: It was working last night and I didn't take it out of the playstation so I don't see how it could have been damaged. The only thing I can think of is that last night i tried the boot camp glitch once. Could that have done something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take the game back and get a new copy. If you bought it at walmart or target or somewhere like that it should be no problem. Just tell them the game freezes when you are playing it.

also cleaning p your hdd normally helps too, frees up a lot of memory

your lense may be dirty-read the manual and clean as directed.

Thanks for the help everyone. I cleaned both the cd and the lense (thanks to drunkenrepublicn for that tip) and now its working again.
