(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I was just wondering which capture card would let me play i HD. I have a SONY BRAVIA 32 inch full HD(1080p) LCD. I would like to record my game play while still playing in HD. I am using an HDMI cord from the T.V to the PS3.

If your HDTV has a component input(highly likely), you can play in 720p using a Hauppauge HD PVR.

If not, then you will need a Blackmagic Intensity Pro which is considerably more expensive/complicated. Whilst it will let you play in 1080p HDMI, recording is confusing and takes up an astonishing amount of hard drive space(I recommend if you choose this you also by a 1TB external hard drive).

I Would say your best bet would be to get one on ebay, i got one on ebay like a month ago for $120 USD. So you can get used ones for pretty cheap, plus some do ship worldwide.
