In October we reported on a new User's Choice category for this year's PlayStation Awards. The votes have now been tallied and the awards will be announced live over the internet starting tonight at 11:30 PM Pacific time (2:30 AM Eastern, 4:30 PM here in Japan).

According to Sony, the USTREAM broadcast will be posted on the official PlayStation Awards website for everyone to see.

The PlayStation Awards are given each year to the biggest hits on all PlayStation platforms. With recent blockbusters like Gran Turismo 5 and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd coming after this year's cut-off date, it will be interesting to see which 2010 title comes out on top.
