(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); With impressive 3D graphics support, an action-packed campaign, and an in-depth multiplayer part, Killzone 3 is shaping up to be a actual flagship release when it hits the PlayStation 3 this coming February.

and now, adding to the weight of anticipation, Sony computer Entertainment the united states (SCEA) has announced a brand new first-party machine gun controller accessory that will be released alongside Guerrilla Games’ much talked about sequel.

Labelled the ‘Sharp Shooter’ and looking not unlike an MP5, the plastic rifle provides safe housing for the PlayStation Move Wand, which sits at the head of the barrel, while the Move Navigation controller can be basically reached by a special handle stretching between barrel and journal.

“When coupled with stereoscopic 3D support, such as in Killzone 3, the PlayStation Move sharp shooter represents a brand new step toward the final objective of any cutting-edge video game: placing players directly in the game,” trumpeted SCEA hardware promotion boss John Koller.

Equipped with a responsive digital trigger, side-mounted control buttons, a firing mode selector, an adjustable shoulder stock and Killzone branding, the Sharp Shooter will cost $39.99 USD.

Not limited to enhancing Killzone 3’s gameplay, the Sharp Shooter is also expected to function with shooters such as SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals, Dead Space: Extraction and Time Crisis: Razing Storm.
