Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im thinking about buying one and I have a some questions...

Will it work if i have hdmi connected to my pc monitor?

Do I need to have another screen/tv to record and play?

Mainly.. I just want to know if I can record because I have ps3 connected to hdmi on my pc monitor and regular cords that came with it to a y adapter to a two way audio thingy to my cheap headphones... I just want to know if it still would work or if I would need another screen/tv... thanks in advance! :mudkip:

first thing you HAVE to buy a composite cable for your ps3...and plug that into the hauppauge (on the input slot). you will get a normal composite cable with your hauppauge, so that composite cable will go into the hauppauge aswell(on the output slot), and into your tv. you will also get a usb cable (not sure what its called but almost the same of a printer) plug that into hauppauge and into your pc. then after you do all this set your ps3's display settings to composite s-video ( i think fiddle around and find the right one)
BEFORE YOU DO ALL THIS : install the software provided

The Hauppauge HDPVR only takes analog signal (component/composite/S-video) so HDMI will not work.

Best solution is to buy an HDTV. Simple as pie with it. Component cable from PS3 to PVR in, another component cable from PVR out to TV and the USB from PVR to your PC/laptop.

on average, how much memory does a 10 minute game take up? (mb-gb?)

well if it's recording on .avi its about 2GB but then if you convert it into .wmv by opening it in wmm and then publishing it as a new movie its about 300 MB
