i think they cut it short, you fall on the floor, then thats it
but the bit during the credits where the evil guy from the first one says put him back in the animus, could be to show they are already inside one?? like in the film inception, a dream inside a dream haha

I don't think so, they just said that to give an excuse for you to still be able to free-roam after beating the game. That's why you lose the option to leave the animus after sequence 9.

hmmm interesting something i just thought is the women thing says like you are going somewhere and only 1 person can go. Its like to get to the next place they have to die? But what is the next place, is it like being in an animus again and lucie will be with you
