I think you need to push in the on and off button IMO, if that dosent work - tis ****ed.

If you have friends/neighbors with another PS3, you should try it on that and see if you get the same effect. Also if someone has the same headset as you, you should try theirs and see if there is a difference. Please keep me updated on how this works out for you, I am in it to help you!

Try seeing if the volume is turned all the way down for some odd reason. If it's up, then try looking through the Accessory Settings for your microphone and check through that to make sure the settings are all right.

Is this bluetooth, actually built for using as a cellphone? That could be the problem.
