Well, Sony uses the FAT32 system to format the drives in PS3, which has a limit of 2TB.

yeh, but what does SONY limit it to? do they limit it to 1TB?anyone here have a 1tb hdd?

or better yet, who here has the largest internal ps3 hd???

1tb is the largest hard drive out there for purchase right now but the PS3 can go up to 2Tb when it becomes available....:FU:

I have a 500gig drive in mine you can go up to 1tb at the moment... 2tb is th max SONY has no limit to the amount you can have... Just the physical limit of 2tb because of the file system used..
