Valve have with a doubt in mind upped their game, With a recent announcement detailing to us that their new game ''Portal'' Will be the first console game to enable Cross-Platform Gaming through the use of several Key components from the developer’s online service Steam.
It has also been confirmed that if you buy a PS3 copy of Valve’s first-person puzzler, you’ll receive a free Steam Play copy of Portal 2 for PC or Mac. The Steam copy will automatically unlock once you link up your PlayStation Network ID and Steam accounts.
"We made a promise to gamers at E3 that Portal 2 for the PlayStation 3 would be the best console version of the product," said Valve co-founder and president Gabe Newell in a statement today. "Working together with Sony we have identified a set of features we believe are very compelling to gamers. We hope to expand upon the foundation being laid in Portal 2 with more Steam features and functionality in DLC and future content release.”
What more can you expect from a company that had brought you a game of much sophistication as well as a lot of realism within it's first release. Maybe this time, The ''Valve Hates PS3!'' will not be mentioned again.
