PlayStation 3 has stacked up 1.1 million sales in Australia since its launch in March 2007, Sony’s revealed.
According to data obtained by GfK (via GameSpot AU), the console accounted for 26.5 percent of all hardware sales in Australia for 2010.
On the software front, the platform boasts a game-to-console attachment ratio of at least ten, with PS3 games making up 26.7 percent of all titles sold Down Under.
Elsewhere, PS2’s shifted 2.6 million units in the territory, while PSP has moved 675,000 units.
Microsoft wouldn’t divulge exact hardware figures for its Xbox 360, though noted sales were up by 20 percent last year in comparison to 2009.[/SIZE][/CENTER]
