(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a usb (SanDisk)
The ps3 doesn't read the updat.pup etc.
I want to jailbreak my ps3 and he doesn't find it:(
I use FAT32...
help please......

I defeated!
i never formatted to fat 32 on the usb stick all i done was put the pup file on the stick,then went to update via usb not internet.

try going into recovery mode on your ps3 and see if that works
hold down power button while its on till it beeps once then hold again till it beeps twice then let it go and it will say plug usb in with controler and then go to system update via usb storage::catfight:

make sure the .pup is in PS3/Update/xxxxx.pup
so create folder PS3 and then in that create UPDATE and put the update file in there.
also be sure your not on Firmware version 3.56
can you go online? then your on 3.56 you can also check system information

TUT:

Go to ->USB make an folder that Calls PS3,go into the PS3 Folder make a another folder Calls UPDATE go into put the PS3UPDAT.PUP into the folder.

i would agree but when i done mine just used the pup file job done.
