I just wanted to address the situation in where Im still on 3.55 firmware for the ps3.
So, the day the firmware came out I went to 3.55 OFW from Geohotz CFW then to 3.56

After downloading it... I was installing the WaW Maps and it froze so I turned off my ps3 (Bricked my system ina way)

My HDD was all messed up so I went into recovery mode (which I heard 3.56 didnt have)

& I restored my Ps3 data.

then about a week ago I looked at Settings > System Update.

After, I checked Storage Media (Which I heard 3.56 didnt have)

and then I checked via internet ....

My ps3 then found 3.56 update ...

So Im pretty sure Im on 3.55.
No I didnt host on 3.41 & No I did not bypass with the DNS / I.P address bypass (that sony patched)

Sooooo.. I just wanted to share this with you guys,

No, just no.... Your PS3 had a 'Hard freeze' and It will always say update found on storage but when you press install, it will say you are on a higher firmware there is no need to update to this firmware.

Ever think of checking under system setting and system version?
And it does still have Update by Media Storage, all the kids that said otherwise or just stupid and don't know how to look

They tryed to stop us hackers to fast they should just ****in chill. i gurantee almost every ps3 owner enjoys A:making challenge lobbys and hacking OR B:joining or paying for a lobby
its all enjoyable

Your not a hacker your a leecher just like 95 % of the so called "hackers" on ps3 that percentage includes me of course :p
