(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys i was wondering as my ps3's blue ray drive dosn't work and i tried to put cfw on it an when it's about to install on to the system it gets to like 60% and then gives an error and tells you to restart and when i restart the same thing happens. so i was wondering do you need a blue ray drive that works to update your ps3's fw?or if not how do i get the installing error away ? thanks lot guys for your help

Bad FW. I have a dead drive and it works fine with CFW and Backup Manager.

Try restoring your system to see if it works or go into recovery mode and update.

iv tried to put it in to recovery mode and it still doesn't go in to it please help me mate
