I have a USB EzCAP video grabber, a USB headset. The problem i have is that my capture card records the video and sound that comes through my TV, but because the chat comes through my headset it doesnt pick it up.

The only thing i can think as to how to overcome this problem make the chat go through my TV and turn the game sound down and then have a seperate mic plugged into my computer recording my voice and then piece it all together afterwards.

Hope this makes sense to someone and you can help me out.

You could just change the output of your mic to default and the input to your mic so you can still talk through it but you will hear the chat on the T.V.

Go to accessory settings - audio device settings and it will display your headset. Set it so you hear the voice through speakers instead of your headset.

thats what i thought, but how do i record my voice too?

You can just do a voice over on your computer..
