Post: 3.56 firmware causing frame rate drop? Or just lag?
02-18-2011, 07:44 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So for the past few days or around the time I updated to the 3.56 firmware my console has run like effin syht. When playing MW2 I feel like everything is in slow motion even though my sensitivity is on 10.

I run tactical so I drop shot, etc... well here lately I hit R3 and I don't move fast at all or don't even drop and end up dying because I can barely move. Other times everything is real glitchy as if the frame rate is dropping. I say this because at times my PS3 sounds like it's spooling up for a take off like an airplane. I have 2 and both do it.

My connection seems to be fine, but I keep getting signed out of PSN on the regular now. And it's not a ISP issue sign out, it's a PSN issue sign out.

So my question is, has anyone else noticed this? Also, thought's and suggestions welcome. I'm gonna call Sony and ask WTF asap tomorrow. Until then I'd like to know if I'm alone in this.

Good call, I haven't noticed it offline now that you mention it but I'll pay closer attention from now on. But I'm thinking it's PSN myself quite honestly. But never really had an issue up until this new firmware came out. Console went to syht from that point on.

But thanks for the thought and response...Smile^
