(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I got the genuis idea that because my computer didnt have enough space and my ps3 had to much, so i could just switch the hdds. I went and configured the one out of my ps3 to run on my pc, then went on to install the one onto the ps3. It told me i needed to put a usb with 3.56 in to reformat the drive. I did but i got a Corrupted Data Error. So i tried again, same error. I then put that one into my 3.41 ps3, did exactly the same thing only with 3.41, and i got the hdd running on that ps3. When i still try to install 3.56 on my good one, with the hard drive that is configured with 3.41, same error. What should i do as it is basically an oversized paperweight now.

its because the 3.56 wasn't an actual firmware it was like a patch to the firmware that was there. So when you upgrade your hard drive it doesn't have that beginning firmware (at least this is what i understand from all the people that know exactly what they are talking about)
