A new month, a new firmware release -Sony has been pumping out new firmwares like no ones business and the new one upgrades your PS3 to v3.60. So what's new in this? PlayStation Plus subscribers have a good reason to upgrade as it now lets you upload your saved games to the cloud so if your PS3 YLODs on you, you wont loose any of your progress. The other feature is for everyone and it lets you set a wait time for the auto-shutdown of the six-axis controller to kick in.
If you've not noticed already, Sony is just adding a few new features with each update when they can very well club everything into a single update and the main reason for that is to make the life of hackers more painful. It's been a cat and mouse game ever since the first hardware jailbreak was released. Sony has been releasing new firmwares and locking access to PSN unless you update the firmware. In case you are one of the many who use a jailbreak dongle then it is advisable to stay away from this update for now.
has anyone read the Terms? it says something like "You have no rights to this system. "SCE" has all rights" and alot of other things. ONE MESSAGE: DONT HACK!
