Whenever i start any game it will eventually freeze in the middle of it OR the screen will change colour and will freeze in that colour. Ive tried restoring my ps3 but no help. I dont want to phone sony again becuaes theyll either give me another half broken one or theyll charge me and well i dont want to pay 4 something i didnt do...anybody got any ideas how i can fix this or is it just my blu ray drive or something?

Sounds like ur blu ray drive u can just replace it if u buy 1 or if its within a year since it last broke im pretty sure they renew ur warranty so u can send it bk free.

Yeah if it's out of warranty you either need to pay to fix it or go on youtube and watch a tutorial on how to take out your blu-ray drive and clean it or replace it.

its in a free space, nothings blocking the sides, front, back apart from the wall but its a few inches away from the wall

yea it keeps cool, everytime its on it never gets hot or anything...its fine tho, i phoned sony they sed theyre gonna swap my ps3 for a new one on the spot on tuesday wen they come pick mine up

when they come on tuesday, if no1s at home and i cant get it what will happen? do they give it to the post office or come another day?
