no the light wasnt blinking also i had the ps3 for a good 2 years

No . a Ylod will give no warning at all. If u get a ylod you are Fxcked. Your power supply may not be connected properly. If your ps3 is out of warranty then i would open her up and give everything a nice clean down make sure everything is connected properly. I'm just guessing though, i've never heard of this problem before!

Yea its not YLOD,for sure it would just turn off and not turn on at all.

Get compressed air and spray through the vents. DON'T SPRAY THROUGH THE DISC SLOT. AND DON'T THANKS MY POST.GROAN MY POST!
