Post: Ps3 Deactivating Account Help?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i recently got a replacement ps3 from Sony and i signed into my account as normal, but when i try to download stuff from the ps store it says the message about 5 systems already have this account. 4 of them systems are broke and now with Sony, and the other is on my brothers ps3. Would it be possible to phone up Sony and ask them to deactivate my account on the recent ps3 i sent in? i sent it in on monday. thanks in advance

If you have never contacted them before about deactivation they do it one time, no questions asked.

If you have done it before then you might have to explain the situation about you sending it in and forgetting to deactivate it.

you dont need to call sony anymore to deactivate a system go to You must login or register to view this content. and deactivate all the systems from your account hope it helps

You can't deactivate from Qriocity. When you go to Edit under your systems and then deactivate, it just tells you how to deactivate from a PS3 system and then will tell you to contact customer service.

just give a call to sony, and tell them to reset you account, and good reasons why.

I rang them earlier today and they said they'll get back to me in 5 working days but I was just wondering if they could deactivate my recent one there and then on the phone, oh and i couldn't do it myself becAuse when i turned the ps3 on all i got was a black screen :(
