Slant Six Games is currently working on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, due out this Winter.
Some early first details come from the May issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, as reported on by Stickskills.
Resident evil Operation was a game from 1998 the year of the original.
Cast, Players
The cast includes all-new characters, each with his or her own responsibilities necessary for survival.
-Vector
-Beltway
-Bertha
-Spectre
New Zombie Features
The zombies this time around will be able to detect you in three different ways: sight, sound, and smell.
Player Control the Storyline.
Players will also be able to shape Resident Evil's story timeline as they will run into various characters from the series...and have the opportunity to kill them. XP is earned for kills, which can be spent on new abilities and weapons. And yes, there will be Tyrants.
Previous Style of RE like This
By the sounds of it, it seems this title will return to the gameplay style of the Resident Evil Outbreak games on PlayStation 2.

after RE4 and 5, it will be nice just to shoot, oh you know....
ZOMBIES again!!! don't get me wrong, i've enjoyed all the RE titles, but Capcom really strayed away from the RE formula the past 2 titles...and don't even get me started on how they changed Wesker into an evil Neo in RE5 LOL
TBH, i'd be more excited about this game if /6 wasn't involved. let's see if they can redeem themselves on the PS3

Resident Evil 1/2/3 & Code Veronica X were the best IMO
But resident evil 4 & 5 are compleate shite
