What's a hard-core King of Fighters fan awaiting the home release of KOFXII to do? No next-gen stick has ever replicated the particular, splayed button layout of the original Neo Geo AES controllers...
...until now! PS3 owners might consider importing one of these slick, museum-grade replicas of the classic AES stick, due to be released from Japanese peripheral manufacturer Exar on July 16 for 5,229 yen ($54). We're talking 100% historical accuracy -- except for the obvious addition of L & R buttons.
Xbox 360 owners are out of luck, however; there's no 360 version planned. The PS3 stick also lacks a PlayStation Home button, meaning no in-game XMB access will be available. The build is bound to be quality, though: Exar is known for its awesome Neo Geo stick replicas.
