I really need help to make my NAT type on my PS3. I have a D-link router and a Thompson (speed touch) modem. I tried everything like port forwarding, and putting my PS3 on DMZ mode but nothing seems to work and i don't want to buy a new router.
I have a windows 7 computer and Eset Nod 32 security. PLEEEEEEASSSSE HELP.

usually putting it in DMZ should work. go to your PS3 and go to system settings. then go to system information, and take note of the IP Address. Type that IP in your DMZ host on your router settings.

This is what i do.
It works with some ppl.
If your nat type is Moderate back-out to the start menu and go back to multiplayer and it should load again and be Open.
i have Comcast ISP and my modem is 5 yrs old. i never have problems gettin a Open NAT

You will need to change some settings on your Router.
You will need to reduce the MTU, if the MTU of the router is 1500 than change it to 1365. Also you will need to open some ports. :y:

try disabling UPnP and then re-enabling it, sometimes that works for me. it might just be your router.

I have a similar problem to this, but I just seem to blame my wireless modem and get over it...
