The so-called anticipated Rage is to be released with two dsics for the Xbox 360, & one Blu-ray disc for the Playstation 3. In recent reports, it's said that Rage can be completed in one sit-down. You'd think that a game with two discs would take awhile to complete, right? Well wrong, while reading about this, it reminds me of Final Fantasy IX of the original Playstation, it has four discs & it takes FOREVER to complete.

Although the rumors are spreading like wildfire on this topic, Rage's director, Tom Willits opposes against these public accusations.

In an interview with Willtis, he states that the campaign of the post-apocalyptic shooter takes an estimated 15-hours to complete. Let's just hope that he's only talking about only doing the campaign, with no side-missions or stories.

If you only do the campaign on Fallout 3, without doing the little side-missions, it takes an estimated 30 hours to complete, let's hope Rage doesn't take too much of our time (sarcasm intended).

What do you think about the previews/rumors that have been through the internet?

At least I can fight
I love long games, something to really sink your teeth into. Fallout 3 was epic, I must have spent hours exploring without even doing any missions lol. I always find games that lack a beefy campaign tend to be put to one side and forotten about or its intended for the online gameplay (COD is a prime example). Anyway, the game looks pretty good and I love the post apocalyptic theme, I guess I'll just have to find out for myself

This honestly makes me sad.. Seems like newer games are getting shorter and shorter.. Black Ops, Homefront. I was looking forward to Rage but $60 for 15hours isn't worth it..

I completely agree! If you were one of those OG Playstation fans back in the 1990's, you'll know how gaming developers are making shorter & shorter games, I think it's sad.

Like I said in the article, Final Fantasy IX, it has FOUR damn discs! That's amazing! And it took forever for each one, maximizing the gameplay & story, which made it a bomb game.

I was and I notice, it's pissing me off. I can't see why it'd be on 2 discs for 15hours unless it has a-lot of long cut-scenes.

I think as we advanced more in the means of multiplayer, the story of games will get shorter and shorter.

Indeed, I played through Assassin's Creed II, amazing gameplay + graphics for a 3rd person, free-roam, & everything. It's one of my favorite non-multiplayer games of all time.

As for modern gaming, developers only focus on the graphics, adding more & more cutscenes are being made to make up for the short gameplay, but in my opinion, it's not.

I mean yeah, I'd like to play a game with good graphics, but to make it better I'd like them to make it at LEAST 50+ hours of campaign mode, with a good storyline, so I & all other gamers can enjoy it.

As for MULTIPLAYER, their all trying to be like Call of Duty. Yeah, it's fun, yeah, it's addicting, but you don't get to enjoy CHARACTERS & a STORY, it's all about bragging to your friends about what rank you are & what items you've unlocked.

Hey if major games like,

GTA
Rage
Fallout
Dragon Age
Red Dead Redemption

and any other huge games. If they were on PC and PS3 ONLY they would be approx 20-50 times larger than added to xbox 360.

Thats why im pissed about PS3 having only 24 players and PC 64 DUE TO THE 360

Yes its really gud! Its also pretty long, took me around 70 hours to complete. I like it because it kinda open world until you reached the next checkpoint of course. The voice acting is really gud. The battle system is tremendous. Also the menu for the battle system requires skill.

Id give it a 9.5/10

Thanks, I really appreciate it! Smile

I guess I should get started on this, I've played almost all of the other Final Fantasy games, guess this one should be next, as I know how the fighting style goes. :y:
