Yes you can I believe. I don't know if there is any difference between a regular 'Awesome faceazzle' or 'Awesome faceazzle DVD Recorder' or if they are two different things at all but I know you can record gameplay with a Dazzle. So yes.

Mines called a Dazzle Platinum Video Creator. But yes i think DVD Recorder is the old name for it.
