If any of this is true, the story will probably go along the line of this:
Penolope and Bentley Create a time machine and go back to the time Bentley and Murray first met sly or go farther back right before Sly's parents are killed and stop the fiendish five from killing them, therefor stopping sly from ever meeting them and bringing him on a whole new adventure... but after a while Bentley tries to get him back because he realizes it was a mistake to save his parents because they no longer know sly and everything changed for them... Maybe theyre will be a Dual story where you play as sly in a different world and play as bentley trying to get to sly. and maybe in the end they reunite.
This is only a theory and plz dont give me negative rep-

Most comman belief is its sly's son and sly is teaching him how to be a thief secretly behind "his mothers back" (spoiler alert) who is carmerleta fox (spoiler end) and he becomes a master thief...
