Because they are not fixing it, they are changing keys and just putting it back up. And since it's a "free service" no one will be compensated EVEN THOUGH IT IS A FEATURE ON THE FRONT OF THE PS3 BOX. Just like OtherOS which is why Sony lost the court case.

Well you can't really be mad at them. It is a free online service on which they let us play. They got hacked, they try their best to fix the PSN to work again. Seems that it's very hard this time because it was not a DDOS attack like most of the time. When you want really good online service and are willing to pay for it, no downtimes and crap, you should choose the XBOX360. And BTW we are having very sunny days right now all over the world, take your time and go outside, don't waste your time on the internet.
