It was finally asked last night at Sony's press conference! The question everyone's had on their minds: Who DID it? Who took hacked into the PlayStation Network? Sony hasn't revealed who exactly DID it, but has ruled Anonymous out!

Just to make it clear tonight, the final question asked at the PSN press conference dealt directly with the subject of Anonymous.

A Japanese reporter asked what involvement, if any, this infamous group had with the latest PSN intrusions.

Kaz Hirai, Sony’s EDP and Ridge Racer‘s #1 fan responded stating that "Anonymous has not been implicated in any way with the current attacks."

Anonymous themselves (whoever they are) have also denied any involvement in the recent attacks. Does this rule them out completely? Of course not, but it’s safe to say someone else was likely responsible.

Sony is currently working with the FBI and Department of Homeland security to find out who is responsible for the intrusion, but so far they have no reason to implicate Anonymous.

Maggbot timeout!
They said it did have something, yes not all to do with anonymous but something to do with them. Anonymous isn't a group of people, it's just people who CHOSE to do this, so if you took down PSN you could be a member of anonymous..... :/ if you took down a site, u could be anonymous, they cant tell but with recent Anonymous issues they think it has SOMETHING to do with them

I am error
If anonymous did it, they would jump all over that. They're all about making it a public thing to show that they can do it. And for them to make a video saying is not them, than its really not them. but they also say that it may be some people or person from anonymous acting alone! but we will never know.

Who is Stansy?
Anonymous wouldn't hack for profit, they'd just hack to be dicks.
