Whats New?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Howard Stringer the well known President and CEO of Sony is backed into the corner with an industry taking shots at him for the companies recent failures regarding data losses. A former Sony shareholder has said: "The leadership of Sony is not in a good place right now, which could lead to Stringer stepping down and may sabotage Hirai's chances of succeeding as the CEO". Things are not looking so good for the company right now with more to read below! The way Sony handled the whole thing goes to show that it lacks the ability to manage crises, The current CEO should step down after the hacker problems and the company's failure to push out products that are competitive. Investors said Sony and 69-year-old chief executive Stringer had botched the data security crisis, a further blow for the company which has struggled to match recent hit products from rivals including Nintendo, Samsung Electronics and Apple Inc. Sony recently declined to testify in person in front of a United States congressional hearing but has agreed to respond to questions in a letter related to how consumers private data is protected by businesses. This may have an effect on consumer and investor confidence with the company failing to subject itself to further scrutiny. Updated: Sony declined to testify because their internal investigation is still ongoing

Summed Up: Sony is in a really bad postition right now and has showed they lack the ability to manage crises with there system.

I <3 NGU!
As much as I am pissed over the whole PSN being compromised, I'm actually feeling sorry for Sony at the same time. Sony as a company is massive, and losing tons of money also at the same time losing loyal fans that been behind them for years. It's pretty bad right now being that anyone could of been the target.

The good news is that Sony will recover, with the long down time of PSN I hope they put better steps in place and a back up plan just in-case this were to happen again!

Just my opinion and everyone is entitled to one!Smile

P.S Look at my SiG :wtf:
