no they wont check if its banned , they will check if it works etc but there is no need for them to check about banning as the system still works

@xKJB A banned ps3 means you cant get online, so whats the point of buying a ps3 if you cant get online on it :L that would just be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring like it is now if you do buy a ps3 from game and its banned, im sure they could replace it or give you your money back.

Yea they will have to, Im hoping its on FW 3.50 so i can put rebug CFW on it as i still have a load of backups on my 1TB HDD from CFW back in feb

Im sure somebody has updated no one would trade in a Cfw ps3 unless they were desperate.

1. They could have traded the PS3 in wayyy before CFW

2. Not everyone knew about CFW

Ok but now everyone knows about Cfw, so I'm sure they are in high demand but I mean if you get one more power to you.

I personally would wait to do this as they do not check the console. They have a 28 day no quibble return policy so at least wait till psn comes back up or if they want to be moody they will sit there and say how do we know you haven't got it banned? The ps3 must be sold as fit for purpose. Good luck with getting a low version!!!!

I got one it was on FW 3.55 so that was lucky now i just need to wait for PSN to make sure its not banned, I can take it back anyway if it is
