make sure the file is in avi

torrent sites have a lot of bluray movies or bluray rips of films

the ps3 cant play MKV format u need homebrew and showtime for mkv but mkv doesnt play threw showtime for me

make your pc a media server and connect your ps3 is to it and stream or copy the films to your ps3

the ps3 will play bluray rips and movies u download

in mp4,mpg and avi formats i think

if your ps3 cant play it it will display

unsupported data

download one of of a site then transfer it to your ps3 it sould be in video or what ever or you could burn it to a disk

u can play bluray format .mkv with the latest multiman tht has showtime player it runs pretty good only prob is if its bigger then 4 gigs gonna have to ftp file to ps3 but it works and good quality and sound
