I read somewhere that it takes 24-48 hours to update through email due to many ppl changing emails.

If you received an OFFICIAL E-Mail from Sony, telling you to reset your password, then do it via the E-Mail they sent you. Or just be like half the PSN users, and make a new PSN account. It's the new 'in' :carling:
