Free roam ability and the ability to kill whoever you want (for the most part) including important characters. And looting towns =)

The above. Not really many singleplayer games that catch my attention.

Freedom and storyline

Hell yes.

Fallout 3 because I beat it and it gives me a comfort factor. I've been to a huge majority of the places on Fallout 3. I'm sure after playing New Vegas for a few more weeks it'll be my new favorite.

fallout is an amazing game, there is so much to do, the amount of NPC's in the game is great, you can travel anywhere in the map, join different factions, quest and have fun!

the sheer size of the game.

What makes you play it?
again the size of it. ive finished it 4 times and yet every time i play i find places that i never found before.

Why is it different to Other games?
for me the fact you can do as you please , kill whoeva you want , rob everything and anything. also the Rock It Launcher is brill in fallout 3. something great about shooting plates an ashtrays and other random stuff at people.

Would you buy Fallout:4?
yes most definitely.

Which is your favourite Fallout?
id say new vegas

Fallout 3 was a whole new experience for me. An RPG with guns and a fantastic atmosphere. I had only played FPS games like battlefield 2 and CoD4 before I bought the game. I didn’t know what fallout 3 was going to be like, I didn’t do any reseach and I never watched a video trailer of it. Anyhow, I got it on release date for PC. And the first part was down the the vault. I liked spending a lot of time down there. For all I knew the whole game could be down in the vault. So the first days I had the game I was in the vault, discovering everything there was. Then suddently I was alone in the wastes.

I was simply stunned by the game. After I had done all the quests a few times I ordered the fallout 3 guide book to read and understand. Then the DLC’s came and I was obsessed once again. And I learned the fine art of modding. I started downloading mods and I started to understand how they worked. After a while I began making my own mods. The art is to find the balance between mods that’s not in conflict. Days with scripting and using the GECK tool to create weapons and buildings.

I have 700 hours + with the game now, and I have completed the platinum trophy for PS3 multiple times as trades in the trophy auction. And I still find it fun to play. New Vegas was a disappointment for me as it wasn’t what I expected, I think obsidian ruined the game.

I like Fallout because its based off quest and free roaming, plus you can use GECK to edit the textures etc.
I play it because like I said above. And making your own quest, forts, dungeons and other textures is fun.
Yes I would buy Fallout 4.
