today I decided look around the house and search for some PS1 games, found about 20 and all of them worked.
I never had a PS2 but I know that to play downloaded games you need swap magic... If I download a game and burn in in a dvd, will my Ps3 run it?

Nope, believe me as i have one of those. It doesn't play PS2 games unfortunately.
