- XCM Cross Fire Converter: This is what allows you to use your PS3 Controller on Xbox 360 and it also gives you rapid fire. The Catch is you cant switch button layouts :/ So you'll have to play with R2 instead of R1 on FPS Games. I'm gonna teach you how to use a PS3 Controller on an Xbox 360 with the same buttom layout but on Xbox 360. I bought my XCM Cross Fire Converter on - Play-Asia.com But if you would like to buy it from a different website or search for a retailer near you!
NOTE: I suggest buying it online from a website that sells it because it is hard to find them in store.
Now ill will show you my tutorial for how to use a PS3 Controller on Xbox 360 using the XCM Crossfire Converter!!
Go ahead and grab your PS3 Controller and disassemble it using a mini screw driver!!
Now Take off all the screw and push in the middle of the analog sticks so it looks like this!! : [ATTACH=CONFIG]9572[/ATTACH]


Now your controller should look like this, You can also have the Vibrator System...If you have the Dualshock 3 Controller!! [ATTACH=CONFIG]9573[/ATTACH]


If you dont want it you can also unplug it, but be careful cause you could break something doing it!
Now take all the screws off from the Board and you should see this: [ATTACH=CONFIG]9574[/ATTACH]



Please Make Sure not to break any part of your controller because controller dont come cheap!!
So this is how your controller should look... So every line corresponds to a button:

Now your going to have to Solder ! , So if your not sure how to make sure to get your dad or someone who has experience and is very precise with a soldering iron! So to swap your R1 with R2 and L1 with L2 Do what it shows in the picture!!:
Stick with a knife under the first, the second and the last 2 once of the connector pins. Now with the welder and wire you have, swap it like this: [ATTACH=CONFIG]9575[/ATTACH]

Yeah this is OLD! I remember fraz422 posted it a LONGGGGGGGG time ago. And his way was a LOT cheaper. I think you only had to pay like $15.

Its not just that you can use Rapid Fire also plus you can use the xbox controller on ps3 i got an XCM Converter and love it. Just put this tutorial up for people who bought it or prefer a controller over another one!

Yeah i mean its just would you prefer more...i prefer the PS3 Controller more cause ive played playstation for so long but it all just depends!!

Same here i try to get on and play CoD with the xbox controller and it just feels to me like im holding the left testicle of a Giraffe it just feels to big!!

I got one for christmas and i just cant keep on my PS3 even after playing it all while PSN was down i just cant stay on it!!
