so my friend's ps3 don't work anymore
since disconnected his power cable accidently while playing

after restarting he got the message "The hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored."

and when its finished
the ps3 restarts automatically and the process is starting again over and over

hope somebody can help
and sorry for the bad spelling :\

try recovery mode and try both the following 2 things

REBUILD FILE SYSTEM
REBUILD DATABASE

If the things that I IZ-OzzA88 dont work i would say that things could end up going worse, he may need to a System Format same again in Recovery mode. Hopefully it wont end like that for him, if you want to know how to get in Recovery mode press and hold power button from a red light stage, hold until ps3 shuts off again. Then hold till two consecutive beeps, i think it is 1 beep then a second or two then a two beep. Then your in recovery mode
