I personally wouldnt trade 2 ps3`s for a 3.55 ps3, i would trade just 1, But.. i haven`t seen loads of 3.55 ps3`s up for sale recently.. Its your choice

TBH you choice if your that mad about a console with CFW then yes, if you would rather go online then no

There's no point trading the 40gb. Just trade/sell the 80gb ps3 and save up for a 3.55 ps3. Best of both worlds.

I think you would get 80$. I sell trade in broken ps3s all the time without any hassles or complications.

i've an original 60gb ps3 from 2006, working perfectly on 3.55 CFW & a 120gb ps3 slim with Super Mario Bros. skin
I've had to repair both of them, but hey, i fixed the YLOD for 5 euro, and two broken Blu Rays for nothing! (although i did damage a ps3 controller...rage quit when the YLOD happened) BJ:
